May I use any major credit card?
Yes, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and JCB are excepted at our store and in our online store. U.S. and international debit and credit cards are accepted.
Where does Present ship, what shipping methods are used, do you offer local delivery, and how long does a gift take to arrive?
Shipping from Present's Online Store: Order online to have your gift shipped via USPS Priority Mail anywhere within the United States for $9.95 (wrapped in a box that fits in a flat rate box), or Local Hand Delivery almost anywhere within about 10 miles of Present for $9.95 (presented in a beautiful gift box or basket) with a handwritten note.
Most in stock items are shipped from Present within 2 business days. Once shipped, USPS Priority Mail Delivery delivery can take 1 to 5 business days in the United States, depending on the destination. If you need something to be shipped more quickly, please call 650-949-4438. We recommend calling because we don't check email as often as phone calls during store hours. Local Hand Delivery takes place the next business day, or later (per request).
Shipping from Present's Store in Person: Contact us by phone, email, or in person to order shipping of a customized gift set. Any gift box or gift basket from Present can be delivered locally for a $21 courier fee depending on the zip code. Place your order in person at Present, by phone (650-949-4438), or email (firstname.lastname@example.org). Mention that you would like your gift to be hand delivered or shipped by USPS, and we will take care of the rest. Find what zip codes our courier delivers to, when orders need to be placed for same day delivery, and more information about Present's Local Delivery Service here. Select items from Present can be shipped via USPS for $21 or more depending on the size.
Corporate Gifts: Present can help design unique corporate gifts for your vendors, customers, partners and employees, and have them delivered for you. How do I return an item?
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase from Present, we will be happy to exchange your gift within 7 business days. To return an item, please contact Present via email for instructions: firstname.lastname@example.org
Do you ever substitute items in a gift from your online store?
Because of the perishable and seasonal nature of some of our products, substitutions may be necessary to ensure timely delivery of your gifts. On the rare occasions we do make substitutions, they will be thoughtfully chosen and will be of equal or greater value than the original items.
Changes: Descriptive or typographical errors are subject to correction. We reserve the right to change items, prices or policies at any time and without notice.
I have allergies to certain ingredients (gluten, peanuts, etc.) that may be found in your products. Where can I obtain ingredient information for your items?
Present offers select products that are labeled as gluten free, vegan, dairy free, etc. Please ask for recommendations for specific allergies. To the best of our knowledge, our labels list all ingredients. For those with peanut allergies, all products may contain trace amounts of nuts or allergens not listed in the ingredients. Also, since gluten and other allergens are found in wheat and some other grain products, we encourage you to read ingredient information carefully and determine if the product is appropriate for you. If you cannot locate an ingredient label on the product you received, contact us with the product name and we will gladly research the information for you. Many gift options in our online store allow you to specify gluten free. In that case some product substitutions may occur. Ask us if you have a request for lower sugar items or other food restrictions, and we will be happy to discuss options.
Do you include packing slips?
Because many of our shipments are gifts sent directly to the recipient, we do not include packing slips with our shipments. This policy is meant to ensure that every gift received from Present is beautifully packaged without any detracting elements. However, if for any reason you require this paperwork, please call Present and we can email or mail you a copy. The emailed Order Confirmation you receive after placing an order is your receipt. If you would like a note included, please write your note (25 words or less) in your order notes.
Why do you charge sales tax?
We are obligated by law to collect sales tax for online orders sent to California.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently Present's online store only ships to destinations within the contiguous United States. We may ship to more locations at a later date. Email Present with any questions: email@example.com
How will my package arrive?
Your package may be picked up at our store with (no delivery fee), shipped via USPS Priority Mail (tracking number will be emailed to you), or via Deliv courier service depending on what you specify when you order. Every gift is carefully and beautifully gift wrapped (eco-friendly gift wrapping available). No packing slip or receipt will be enclosed in our packages (your emailed Order Confirmation is your receipt) and you will receive a tracking number if you provide your email when you order.
How can I review or make changes to my online order?
After your order is placed online, you will receive an Order Confirmation via email. This will include an Order Number, product name, total cost and billing and shipping information. This is confirmation that your order has been placed successfully and is also your receipt. If you order USPS shipping, you will receive an email with a tracking number. If you would like to make any changes to your order, please contact Present at 650-949-4438 (during store hours) or firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do our best to assist you.

At Present's Los Altos Store: Present can help design unique corporate gift collections, wrap them beautifully, and deliver or ship them for you. First, give us an idea of what you are looking for, who is destined to receive the gifts, the occasion, if you would like for them to be branded with your company colors, if you would like for the gifts to be wrapped in a box that fits in a USPS Priority Mail flat rate box or presented as a beautiful gift basket for hand delivery, etc. We can send you pictures and estimates for approval if you’d like. You may set an appointment to see specially prepared example gift collections. We can S Sset up an account for you so that your team can easily order the gift collections that are customized for your company.
